Our major asset was our house so it was an incredibly important decision to get the agent we believed that would provide the best performance for us. After serious consideration we knew what was important to us to achieve the best result for the sale of our home. Professional Conduct Matthew was always very well dressed and spoke clearly and to the point during our conversations. He kept to the point in answering our questions and didn’t act like a politician. He asked questions of us and answered our questions. Anything he was unsure of; he came back to us on rather than making something up and or guessing. Accuracy and Completeness of Information During our interview phase in selecting an agent we expected Matthew to inform us of local market data including past history, current details of homes for sale and a potential window of sale price for our home backed by this data. Matthew provided this on each occasion accurately and in full. Integrity of information and Character We had specific questions relating to our understanding of our local and surrounding suburbs as we had lived here for 6 years. He was the only agent who provided the highest amount of integrity in his answers and information provided. We caught several other agents out on certain items which indicated to us that integrity was clearly an issue just to get the listing. Matthew passed our integrity of Information and integrity of Character questions and tasks to the highest standard or each of the agents we contacted. He showed a genuine interest in partnering with us for this process which was authentic. Commission Structure Matthew’s commission structure was the highest of each of the agents we contacted. Just so I am clear, not by a disproportionate amount but mathematically the highest. For us it did work out that you get what you pay for, so after our initial vetting we were able to see that the money was well spent. Not at any stage did Matthew try to play down the commission structure so that we would ignore it. He explained it and we understood each of the items. We never doubted that our home would sell, what was important to us was that our home was represented professionally to the market represented with integrity and we achieved a very good result in the sale. Use of Technology The Photos provided by Matthew’s photographer best represented our home. We were impressed with the quality, lighting and angles used in each photo. As previously mentioned I was away for a large part of the sales process and he was able to arrange zoom meetings at the timings we requested. He sent the invitations promptly and all three of us were able to complete communication requirements efficiently. Performance of the Real Estate Sales Agency Office The performance from the Real Estate Sales Office was average to ordinary. The office did not measure up to the high level of performance which Matthew demonstrated regularly. To be very clear Matthew was not involved in any of these occasions. These comments relate to the dealings we had with other staff members from the Real Estate Sales Office. These occasions were regrettable, but we understood did not detract much from the work and process Matthew was undertaking for us. Summary of Matthew Tyler Are we saying Matthew is perfect? Goodness NO. Matthew’s performance for us was of a high standard which we were very happy with. What mattered to us was that Matthew treated us professionally, that he did what he said he would do and represent our home with integrity to the market.
